Photography is my way of escaping so I can be at one with mother nature. Being at peace with the universe. The beauty is – she’s unpredictable and you never know what she’s going to dish up on any given day.
To me, it’s all about the journey - getting out there, waiting for that perfect moment, that second when everything – light, mood, presence – falls into place. That magical point in time when she presents you with that hidden jewel.
One click. One second. One opportunity to capture that instant on camera.
Had you not happened along on that day, at that specific time then the moment would be lost forever. Something magnificent missed. Not captured on film and never to be seen again. Forgotten.
Photography provides me with a sense of fulfilment, the ability to marvel at the world around me and translate what I see, feel and hear into the photographs I take.
